The Careers Exhibitions & Information Association (CEIA) plays an important and strategic role in enhancing coordinated efforts amongst higher education institutions with regard to student recruitment.

The Association currently has membership from South African Universities, Technical Vocational Education & Training Colleges, Private Colleges, Departments of Education nationally as well as in SADC Countries such as Swaziland and Lesotho.

The Association is a non-profit organization constituted by Public Relations Officers, Recruitment Officers & Recruitment Managers, Information Officers and Marketing Managers from institutions that are tasked with supporting Career Guidance and information dissemination at schools.

The core business of the Association is to provide comprehensive career information through interactive communication.

  • To create a platform for member institutions to disseminate relevant and accurate information for learners and out of school youth to make informed career choices.
  • Promote cooperation amongst member Institutions
  • Issue communication in relation to the association activities
  • To forge and nurture strategic stakeholder relation
 
  • To coordinate career exhibitions nationally and internationally
